1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of Cometstep (cometstep.com and app.cometstep.com), a product of K Network Live. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use Cometstep for an institute, you confirm you can bind it to these terms.
2. The service
Cometstep provides software for tutors, coaching centres, schools and other educators to manage scheduling, attendance, fees, communication and records. We may improve, add or change features over time.
3. Accounts
- You must be an adult and give accurate information.
- Keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Schools and larger institutes are reviewed before activation, and we may decline or suspend an account that breaks these terms.
4. Free tutor plan and paid plans
The tutor plan is free for up to 25 active students with 2 GB of storage, with no time limit while the service operates. If you exceed these limits you can choose a paid plan or reduce your usage. Prices for paid plans are shown before you pay, and we will not charge you without your clear agreement. We will give you notice before we change plans or limits.
5. Your data
You own the information you put into Cometstep. You give us permission to store and process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the data you enter, including having any consent needed from parents or guardians for children’s information.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use Cometstep for anything unlawful, harmful or deceptive.
- Do not enter sensitive identity numbers such as Aadhaar numbers.
- Do not try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the service, or access another account’s data.
- Do not send spam or abusive messages through Cometstep.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep Cometstep available and secure, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance. Support is available at hello@cometstep.com.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Cometstep at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, put the service or others at risk, or if the law requires. Where reasonable, we will give you a chance to export your data first.
9. Our rights
Cometstep, its software, design and brand belong to K Network Live. These terms give you a right to use the service, not to own it or copy it.
10. Disclaimer
Cometstep is provided “as is”. Records, reminders and reports depend on the information you enter. Please check that your own tax, fee and legal obligations are met. Receipts and reports produced by Cometstep are tools to help you and are not legal or tax advice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, K Network Live is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or income arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you use a free plan.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the courts of India with jurisdiction over the matter.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will post the new version with its date. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Last updated 13 October 2026. Questions: hello@cometstep.com.
