Is Cometstep ready to use?+

We are building in the open with our first schools in West Bengal. You can register now and explore the software; pricing will be announced before any school is charged.

Which boards does it support?+

CBSE, ICSE/ISC and state boards. West Bengal (WBBSE / WBCHSE) is our first state, with Bengali-first subject suggestions and the state holiday calendar.

Do you store Aadhaar numbers?+

No. We only keep the child's name as it appears on the Aadhaar, never the number. PEN and APAAR IDs are supported as optional fields.

Can we move our existing student data in?+

Yes. Download the CSV template, paste your records in, and the importer checks every row for mistakes before anything is saved.

We are a government school. Is this for us?+

Yes. Government and government-aided schools get grants, scholarships, utilisation certificates, RTE tracking, official registers and a mid-day meal module — and you switch on only what you use.

Which languages are supported?+

English today. The software is built so regional languages can be added later.

Is each school's data kept separate?+

Yes. Every school's data is isolated and every important change is recorded in an audit trail.
